Focus on "Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality" Development, and Build a State-Level Green Factory with High Standard

2021 is the first year of the 14th Five-Year Plan period. For the first time, China includes the "carbon peaking" and "carbon neutrality" targets into its five-year plan for economic and social development, according to which the municipal industry and information technology authority will accelerate the development of the green manufacturing system, and lead a number of local "green benchmark" enterprises to seize development opportunities, work towards the "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality" targets, and strive to achieve green development.
Walking into the major production bases of Hansoh Pharma, a state-level "green factory", is like walking into an energy-saving equipment expo, where recyclable green energy-saving materials, advanced clean process technology, and efficient end-of-pipe management equipment are used in almost every aspect. For example, distributed photovoltaic power projects are built on the top floor of thousands of square meters of buildings in the factory area, and all electricity is self-generated and self-used for office area; heat pipe energy-saving projects for air conditioning cabinets are used in multiple facilities, greatly reducing electricity and steam consumption in the production process; energy storage and power consumption projects outside workshops support charging at low load of power grid and discharging at peak load of power grid, which improves the power consumption quality and saves the power consumption cost for enterprises.

A complete system is the foundation for sustainable development of a green factory. To this end, Hansoh Pharma has set up an energy management team, and established an electricity distribution and consumption monitoring and management system as well as an online steam monitoring platform, enabling online monitoring and management of electrical energy and steam. In terms of energy consciousness enhancement, Hansoh Pharma has been improving employees' awareness of energy conservation by inviting external experts to provide energy management training, organizing internal energy training, and launching energy campaigns.

Up to now, the city boasts 7 state-level green factories, 2 green design products and 1 green supply chain management enterprise, which represent a high level in the field of green industry development. In the new journey of the 14th Five-Year Plan, the city will strive to create a green industrial development model with economic, ecological and social benefits, and contribute wisdom and strength to the realization of the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality targets.
