【Indications】 | This product is suitable for the following treatments: 1. Active duodenal ulcer; 2. Benign active gastric ulcer; 3. Symptomatic erosive or ulcerative gastric-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD); 4. In combination with appropriate antibiotics, are indicated for the treatment of patients with Helicobacter pylori infection and duodenal ulcer. 5. Maintenance of healing of erosive or ulcerative gastric-oesophageal reflux disease. Controlled studies do not extend beyond 12 months. |

【Dosage and Administration】 | Swallow this product whole. Do not chew or crush tablets. 1. Treatment for adults/elderly patients A. Active duodenal ulcer and active benign gastric ulcer patients: 20mg (2 tablets), once a day, taken in the morning. Most patients with active duodenal ulcers can be healed after 4 weeks. However, 2% of patients still need to take this product for additional 4 weeks to achieve healing. Most active benign gastric ulcer patients respond to doses of 10 mg (1 tablet) once daily in the morning. Most active benign gastric ulcers patients can be healed after 6 weeks. However, 9% of patients still need to take this product for additional 6 weeks to achieve healing. B. Patients with erosive or ulcerative gastric-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD): 20 mg (2 tablets), once daily, for 4 to 8 weeks. C. Maintenance for long-term treatment of gastric-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD): 12 months of treatment, 10 mg (1 tablet) or 20 mg (2 tablets), once daily. Some patients respond to maintenance doses of 10 mg (1 tablet) once daily. D. Helicobacter pylori Eradication In combination with appropriate antibiotics, are indicated for the treatment of patients with Helicobacter pylori infection and duodenal ulcer disease. This product should be taken in the morning and before meal. Although the time of administration and feeding have no effect on the efficacy of rabeprazole sodium, this mode of administration is more conducive to the treatment. 2. Medication for patients with hepatic and renal impairment. No dosage adjustment is necessary in patients with hepatic and renal impairment. However, when it is treated for the patients with severe liver impairment, please refer to "Adverse Reactions and Precautions". |
